Most of the country had a cooler than normal summer. That’s great. As I get older the heat get hotter and the cold gets colder. However, summer didn’t forget to give us one last blast of scorching heat before it ended. The good news is that it can’t last too long. Then to a favorite time of year for sportsmen…fall.
Fall has multiple advantages. First, the cooler weather is a relief from summer heat. Colors change so the beauty of the woods comes alive. And all animals, both human and the woodsy kind, get frisky as the body has and keeps more energy in moderate temperatures. Hunting gets in full swing but fishing ramps up too. It’s a great time to be in the outdoors.
CrappieNow staff have been busy. Our second ICAST feature appears in this issue. The new products, sponsors and contacts made during the event create more work now but opens doors to a bigger future for us and the magazine.
Enjoy the CrappieNow articles this issue that are current and relative for crappie fishing now. You can find a variety of topic choices along with some good tips. The BnM pro staffers give us their favorite pole choices and how they use them.
I hope you’ve enjoyed your summer and are ready for a fun and active fall. Go catch some big’uns.

Good Fishin’ & God Bless,
